Nerd Alert Tutors was founded was founded by Gregory Estaris, a private tutor who has gained experience in the education sector for almost a decade.

Since 2007, he has worked as a teacher, tutor, and mentor for non-profit organizations in northern Orange County, as well as with other companies specializing in private tutoring. He has helped hundreds of students achieve their academic goals, and has seen his students get accepted to some of the top colleges and universities in the nation, including: UCLA, USC, NYU, Berkeley, and Stanford, among many other elite institutions of education. Working independently for the past several years, Greg has been successful at providing tutoring services locally here in southern Orange County.

His love for science and math garnered him two degrees: a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California at Irvine, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of the East, where he made the Dean's List. After studying abroad, and in between reviewing for the dental board exams, Gregory began tutoring and mentoring for the non-profit organization formerly known Saint Joseph's Ballet, now known as the Wooden Floor.

Upon discovering his passion for making life-changing impacts on the many students he worked with, Gregory decided to forgo becoming a dentist, realizing he had found his true calling in life.

Channeling his inner Dr. Seuss, Greg's new life motto was, "Anyone could save any old tooth, but it is a much greater challenge to save the mind of a youth." After many years of service with the organization, Gregory has now focused his passion on providing local students a way of receiving convenient, quality education at affordable prices by way of private tutoring.
